Scouts can choose from Pottery, Glass Fusion or Clay Options! Take a tour of our studio and learn the stages of clay. SCOUT POTTERY
Girl Scouts can paint with your troop with a minimum of 6 painters and receive 10% off plus a Girl Scout Pottery Patch!
SCOUT GLASS
- Project Cost includes 2 hours of studio time and includes flat firing with a Minimum of 6 and Maximum 12 Glass Artists.
- Four-inch Glass Project costs $20 for each Scout. Several project choices include a coaster, nightlight (additional charge), sun-catcher, ornament and pendants.
- Six-inch Glass Project costs $25 for each person and includes slumping. Several project choices include a plate, bowls, votive and more.
SCOUT CLAY
(Available Spring/Summer)
You can truly make a one-of-a-kind piece using soft clay! Designed for beginners…NO CLAY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Take advantage of this opportunity to try wheel throwing or handbuilding with the help of an Artist in You instructor. Clay and tools provided.
SCOUT CLAY WHEEL
Scouts will learn the skills to use the potter’s wheel. Beginners will focus on the fundamentals: centering, throwing bowls and cylinders, pulling handles, and simple trimming and glazing.
Cost $25 per scout includes instruction, clay, and use of studio tools, glaze & firing for one piece. Extra Charge for glazing/firing additional pieces of $10 per piece. Minimum 6, Maximum 10.
SCOUT HANDBUILDING PROJECT
Scouts will be shown how to use slabs, coils, and sculpting techniques to create their own clay bowls or other inspired creations.
Cost $20 per person includes instruction, clay, use of studio tools, glaze and firing for one project. Minimum 6, Maximum 12.
